Trickster Tales

In our shared reading time together we have been reading Trickster Tales. We talked about the words GREEDY, BOASTFUL, and TRICKY before our reading began.

We learned that a Trickster Tale....
-a clever animal or person plays a trick on other characters
-the trickster character has one or two main qualities, such as greediness or boastfulness
-the language sounds as if someone were telling the tale out loud.

The stories we are enjoying together are:
1. Hungry Spider
2. Rabbit Races with Turtle
3. Aunt Fox and the Fried Fish
