We are in the midst of our measurement unit, and exploring lots of new and different things! Today we did a lesson using straws and twist-ties to create shapes. We compared and contrasted different triangles, looking at different sides, corners, and areas. We also made squares, rhombuses, trapezoids, and rectangles. There are many different features that distinguish each of these shapes!
